St. James School Society
About “St James School” –
(Managed and Run by Baptist Church of Mizoram)
St James School is a product of the burning desire of the BKHP (Baptist Kohhran Hmeichhe Pawl) Mizoram, who felt acute shortage of educational institutions in this area.
They formally celebrated the inauguration of the school on 1st April, 1980. The members of SJS Society, yet vowed to translate ‘Their’ dream into action as a sincere thankful to them.
Ours is a Co-educational institution and medium of teaching is only English. ‘Computer’ has been introduced as a compulsory subject from Class I(one).
Initially the institution was affiliated to (TBSE)Tripura Board of Secondary Education Tripura upto Secondary Level. But now, the School Shifted to Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) upto Secondary Level
AIMS AND PURPOSE OF THE INSTITUTION
The Institution firmly believes in the dictum that good education discovers and develops the finest qualities in human beings.
It provides a curriculum which will not only educate and instruct the children but draw out the best in them and would, thus, constitute in preparing the young generation adequately equipped with civic, educational as well as vocational efficiency and the qualities of character that go with it.
